Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools
Welcome to the Williamsburg-James City County School (WJCC) Division where our vision is to pursue excellence and champion the success of all students. We believe all students are unique, and we are committed to providing them with everything they need to be successful academically and socially. From excellent academic programs to our creative programs in the arts, to our award-winning athletic programs, to our career preparation pathways, we believe in educating the whole child and preparing students for future careers and exemplary citizenship.
What They Do
WJCC operates elementary, middle, and high schools emphasizing whole-child education—strong academics, creative arts, athletics, and career-connected learning aligned with real-world skills.
Where Howard Fits
Howard students can teach across grade levels or serve in counseling, student services, and specialized programs. New teachers receive induction, mentoring, and opportunities to grow into coaching or leadership.
Why Talk to Them
Talk to WJCC if you want a community-oriented district where you are known by name and can grow over time without being one of thousands.
